21 of 21 people found the following review helpful. Do not purchase this calendar if you're expecting photo stills of the cast! By Linda G. Perry I was so disappointed in this calendar. I would give it minus 1 or zero, if possible! I thought there would be many photos of the cast and instead it was page after page of Outlander trivia similar to what we've seen on Outlander FB. I counted the pictures in the 365 page calendar and there are only 58 pics of the cast. I'm actually being very generous here because there were several photos just showing hands. Since I have every scene memorized, I did actually know whose hands were pictured...but still! I had hoped to make this a Christmas gift to all my fellow Outlander obsessed friends, but no way would I order any additional calendars! I was also planning to use a couple of the photos to make my same friends coffee cups to go along with the calendar and I don't know if there are 2 photos that I would choose out of the 58! Very Very disappointed!!I also ordered the wall calendar and it is great, just what I expected!

Similar to the Downton Abbey calendar we bought last year.This 2016 full year calendar has a page per day, weekend doubled. Each page offers something different. It may be a photo from the TV series, it may be trivia, a quote from dialogue, or a bit of history of the period (of course Outlander has 2 periods being time traveling.) A fun desk calendar, but beware, if you are addicted to Outlander as I am, you may have difficulty tearing any pages off the calendar.

I was expecting lots of still photos, but instead it's mostly trivia with a few photos sprinkled in. The trivia bits are interesting, but I was expecting a lot more photos. :(

Monthly planning pages start July 2015. The coloring designs are varied, from very easy to very intricate. My glitter gel pens don't bleed to the other side of the paper, but I wouldn't use markers.

The actual weekly pages don't start until January 2016, just something to be aware of. The pictures to color are beautiful and pull me in and get me feeling creative and relaxed.

It does have the last few months of 2015 as a monthly calendar and not weekly but it said so in the description and I wasn't planning on using it until January anyways, so there was no surprise there. I really like that there's a new page to color every week in 2016, maybe it will remind me to slow down and try to get the one picture colored every week. I also really like that there's a 2017 planning area so you can jot down a few reminders for the next year. Paper seems to be of reasonably good quality, but I won't be using markers on the paper because I don't want it to bleed through. It seems substantial enough for gel pens though, and I usually prefer colored pencils anyways.

By cindyc I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.Grrrrr. I want to fight for this last alpha! This book is so full of many wonderful surprises, you can't help but be taken in with it. The author has given us an outlook of a shifter which is new and undiscovered, and made it her own. The story line is simply outstanding. Every time you think you have a handle on where it is headed, it shifts (no pun intended) and twists until you find yourself wondering how you got there. It is chalked full of suspense, a few thrills, a dash of romance and a wee bit of hot, steamy sex. Then, of course, we have the characters, of which there are a few that make up the main players, that tease us with what we think is going to happen, only to change it up and leave us hanging to figure it all out. They are all so well developed, that it is hard to believe that they have derived from the author's imagination. The only part I felt was lagging, was the ending, but then again, it has totally left the door open for a sequel. This is NOT a cliffhanger! Loved this book and would totally recommend it to my friends, and anyone else out there that loves a great book.

I've just started getting into this genre and this book is a different twist on the others I've read. Most werewolves were either born that way or bitten by a werewolf. Something a little different happens here, but I'm not spoiling it. There's a true shifter here, the Last Alpha, who has been searching for others like himself. He's found his soul mate in an American blogger who pretty much doesn't believe in werewolves. In some stories, the werewolves are known and in others, like this one, they are thought to be myths only. And anyone who thinks they are a werewolf is believed to be suffering some deep psychosis. Big surprise in this book! It's an intense story, sort of serious, dramatic, but not gruesome. The author makes you care about the characters, even the werewolves, as you feel what they feel. It's a great book by a new favorite author

Can you imagine being the very last of your kind?? Initial thoughts while starting in on the story is that Ruby starts off running & is very descriptive. The fact that it is set in Scotland is awesome!!! Definitely love the descriptions when it comes to any & everything Scottish!!! Now that I am finished and trying to find the right words to do this review, I have to take a step back first. Overall, I was firmly caught in Ruby's web, ensconced in this story, determined to figure out what was going on before the story revealed the answers. Thankfully I was wrong most every time! That is a great thing because it shows how original, how different & how unique the story is. Now to think about the story on the deeper level...without ruining any single part of the story... The intensity level sure amps up quickly and often, which makes it a very furrific read! ‘All I ever wanted was to find companionship in others like me, and I ended up falling in love.’ This isn't a romance story about shifters, this is a last wolf shifter story with a side of romance...until it becomes a romance, then shifts to a shifter romance. ‘We don’t do all that. It has to be for life. A soul-mate.’ ‘He meant everything he said. He believed it. That he was a werewolf, the last of his kind. And that he was in love with Jenny.’ Ok, maybe in my 'real life' I would think a guy a nut job if he said all that to me, but since I prefer to live with my head - and heart - in paranormal romance books, I would LOVE to have that all said to me!! That is actually one of the very cool parts to this story - how much it shifts, grows almost. 'Tender intimacy taking over from animal intensity.' While this line describes something else (obviously! snicker), to me it describes the story perfectly! This book ranges from the lightheartedness to highly intense, humor to solemn, and back again, making this story very hard to define, all in a good way though! The psychosis of the wolf, of the man, of the woman, are all separate entities, even when they really aren't. Trust me, after reading the book you will understand what I mean. I can't find a way to say more about it without giving spoilers. Because of these vastly different features this isn't a book that I would call a shifter story...until it is one!! I love how you get sucked in and pulled through this amazing adventure! Ruby has created such an innovative shifter story, where nothing is like any other shifter book that I have ever read! And I have read a LOT!!! And that ending?!?! I was NOT expecting that at ALL! FANGTASTIC!!! Even though this is the first book that I have read of Ruby's, I can already see just how gifted of an author she is! She has impressed me very much with this book and I cannot wait to experience her other stories!

Only 2 Stars By Avid_Reader_Ed Pros -The Timeweb is a very creative concept, especially with all the alien races defined, and their various attributes, such as those that can see it and those that can't.Cons -Many authors use repetition of details to flesh out their books, but 15+ repetitions for some it seemed, many almost word for word, is ridiculous. It seems to be just a method to spread what should be probably one good novel into a trilogy so that we end up spending $15 for one ebook. If his dad's original Dune series had been this way, it would have been about 36 books instead of the 6 it was.Overall, without the repetition, I would give it maybe a 3.5 - made me wonder if Kevin Anderson really wrote 99% of the Dune follow on books, which I thought were quite good.

Brian Herbert has many similar traits to his father, the great Dune author Frank Herbert, but he falls a bit short on his late father's genius. The plot lacks some of the great depth of the Dune series, and the character development is "just OK." That said, the story is good enough to keep the reader's attention and have them coming back for more.

Purchased this book not really knowing what to expect, but the uniqueness of the character (Lupo Danish) kept me intrigued along with the slick writing style of the author. Haven't enjoyed a book this much in awhile. Looking forward to what's coming next from Jimmy Callaway! I hear he's a great stand up too!

Hard-hitting both metaphorically and literally, it was roller-coaster of a story. Walked away from this one a little twitchy and needing to maybe get drunk for a while. Insane fights, crushing troubled past, and some major baddies all make this a great book. But don't take this Internet Stranger's word for it. Buy it for yourself and have a read!

By RCKJ Michael Yapko has combined clinical and experimental data in a superlative text detailing the best views of depression treatment. It is a striking and a fine reminder to the clinician of patient individuality and the absolute necessity of working within the patient point of view and not only your own orientation. This is a wonderful book and has served to remind me of the needs of patients as separate from my own clinical views. There are beautiful, practical examples of helping patients to expect a more hopeful, flexible life using clinician assisted techniques to deal with any new life problems with efficacy. This is truly a lovely book and has raised my spirits as a practicing clinician!
