1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Demostrates that most professional advice on the subject is wrong. By Dale A. Walters Mr. Keats clearly and systematically explains that the current advice of sending high net worth Canadians "off shore" is bad advice.Mr. Keats takes the reader through all of the possible income sources to show that by moving to the US a high net worth individual would do better in all but one of the income types and tie on the last income type. However, what may be the most important point Mr. Keats points out is that lifestyle is the most important consideration. Even if going to a tax shelter island was the best financial decision, people feel like prisoners on the island after a short period of time and that is now way to live in your retirement. The book will totally change the way high net worth Canadians and their advisors think about the issue of finding a place to live in retirement.

3 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Poorly written, poor content By B Clare Johnson Very little content, nothing covered re: qualifications for the correct status. Seems to be nothing but an add to hire a financial planner, one in particular.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Barely worth the time By Ronald K. Meyer Spends too much time trashing conventional tax havens and not enough detail about using the US instead. Guess he wants to force readers to contact his firm?
