Six months after Spectrum first appeared in Towers City, Jason Randwulf is finally getting his act together. He won back Tyler Zane, the love of his life. He's still got his job and he's perfecting the use of his powers. Everything is on track until one morning the city wakes up to a sky full of alien warships. Xenos has returned and they want their weapon back and unless they get it, they plan on destroying the city and everyone in it. The only choice is clear and Jason sees that he must offer himself up to save everyone. Jason is taken back to Xenos and face trial for the crime they believed he has committed and soon he is set upon a test to prove his worthiness. What no one could know is that this path will bring him in conflict with an ancient evil and the fates of Xenos and Earth hang in the balance. And if Jason should survive and somehow return home, what kind of home will he return to? A new evil is beginning to grow in Towers City and its roots grow deep and dark. New villains. New challenges. New worlds. The saga of Spectrum continues in this new, exciting chapter.

By CWH1964 We've seen the beleaguered superhero done with Spider-Man and many successors. Spectrum carries on this tradition of a man who perseveres not because he is chosen or destined--but simply because he chooses to. The supporting cast is quite diverse and the action ranging from urban superhero combat to science fiction pulp-style is a treat. The only flaw I saw was that a plot in here could have been resolved in another sequel. Don't do too much at once.
