Life is a hallway to which many doors lead. The door at the end of that hallway happens to be the grand attraction, and your journey to it is what I seek to unfold through the eyes of Carls Locke, a desperate man in desperate need of reclaiming his grasp upon reality and freeing his mind from man's greatest illusion. He is caught between realms, wishing so much to be in one while forced to endure the other, and all while trying to keep his daughter safe.

About the Author I grew up where most dream of vacationing-and even I look back to my youth in awe. In the day, I took for granted the vast expanse of cultural and ethnic diversity about me. I was raised in a village in Papua New Guinea before relocating to the United States when I turned fourteen. I was born in Osage Beach, Missouri, and now seek to plant myself in the beautiful city of Clinton, Mississippi. It was upon relocating to the States that I officially began my journey as a writer. I always bore a vivid imagination-it and I go way back-but my career as a writer began in the hours between school days. I had accumulated fourteen years of backstory for me to begin crafting the hallways through which my tales were to be seen. Such is the case now: a single hallway to which many doors lead, all of which pertain to their own significant stories. It is those that I wish to unveil and to those that I write-for we all play a part in a central story after all, yet all of us bear just as significant lives as what others would consider to be the main characters. I say that we all are primary, we all are personal, and we all are influential of the main plot. Imagination defies limits-so why define it? That is my writer's motto, especially when it comes to the depths a writer swims through as he or she explores bottomless oceans of thought. We are creators just as much as explorers, and as long as my mind soars above the clouds of foreseeable events, I strive to write that which defies them. I write for intrigue, for depth, for symbolic meaning and as a two-edged sword. I am a knight of present time-slicing my way through life with a different perception of meaning and possibility. And of those differences, I write.

Beauty in question but unresolved answers lead to lack of substance. Much more potential as a foundation for a sequel. The jest of it is a man taking his family to a mall in hopes of a vacation. Come to find out, this "grand attraction" has dark illusions and he, the protagonist, has fallen for them. Frantically seeking solitude, he fights against the rising horrors to find a place to keep his daughter safe. While she can be affected by the creatures and reality "new", she did not fall for the illusion, thus--for the most part--cannot see them. So daddy protects baby (she is like 3 years old...) and monsters hurt daddy. That's only the surface level, however. There is much, much, MUCH more going on. In fact, there's no telling how much is actually going on until the sequel. While choppy, this book leaves one confounded as to what answers actually lie behind the illusion that is the "grand attraction".
