About the Author
Marjorie Leigh Bomben has been a paramedic with the Chicago Fire Department since 1983, rising through the ranks to become paramedic field chief. She worked on CFD ambulances for twenty-five years.

All the five star reviews have said it as well as I can, worth your time and money. A book by some one who has been there and done that. Its all about the good bad ugly and crazy calls and partners she has had. I read a lot of this stuff so she is up there with Michael Morse and all the others (except that fellow from Boston but you can read that review later). If you like firefighter or EMT/paramedic stories ge the book. You won't be disappointed.

It was written by a paramedic who has been there, seen it, done it and got the tee shirt! It is sad, funny, tragic and all true. And the best part: Marjorie has another book in the works. A Must Read...Really Well Written By Amazon Customer As a retired CFD Paramedic Field Chief, I have had the opportunity to experience many similar stories that are portrayed in this book. I can't thank Marjorie Leigh Bomben enough for putting to paper, what each and everyone of us has always wanted to do, but had never done.
