This is the second book in this witch trilogy and I am hooked. Rowena has a way of drawing you in and holding you captive with her story telling. Alanna is fiesty and I like that. Gregori drew me with his intensity and I find that sexy.I love the area that is described so beautifully and getting to know the sisters has been amazing. I love how artsy the sisters are and the sculpture of the dragon sounds incredible. I am so excited for Beth's story so I can see how this talented author draws this trilogy to an end.
From the Author I just loved writing Alanna's story in The Jade Dragon. She was feisty yet vulnerable and I really enjoyed discovering what made her tick. And of course, her hero, Gregori turned out to be everything a woman would want. Le Sigh.!

Rowena May O'Sullivan is a writer of paranormal romance and romantic comedy. Her first book in the Greenwood Witches series The Silver Rose, stemmed from a vivid dream. From there, The Jade Dragon, Alanna and Gregori's story was born.
O'Sullivan is currently working on the third Greenwood Witches' book with Beth and Goran's story.

In fact, I loved it so much, I downloaded her first book in the series, A Sliver Rose. I think it is pure magic when an author can draw me so deeply into the story and characters, I just can't let go when the story comes to an end.This story is unique and it's very well written. I instantly fell in love with the heroine, Alanna. What a mess she had on her hands. But she wasn't alone in her troubles. The relationship between Alanna and her two sisters is a joy to read. Like all families, they were not perfect, but they support each other--love each other.What completely sold me on this book was the developing relationship and the chemistry between Alanna and Gregori. From the moment Gregori broke free, it was a real joy watching Alanna and Gregori find their way toward each other. One moment, Ms O'Sullivan had me laughing my head off while the next moment I was sitting on the edge of my seat.While The Jade Dragon is the second book in Ms. O'Sullivan's series, I had no trouble understanding the very imaginative world Ms. O'Sullivan created. The Jade Dragon is a stand-alone novel. I gladly recommend this marvelous story to anyone who is looking for an exciting romance filled with an incredible new world where witches and warlocks are real and love really does conquer all. I can't wait to see how this series ends with Beth's story.

I loved the first book, The Silver Rose, and jumped at the chance to receive an ARC of The Jade Dragon in exchange for an honest review. The Jade Dragon focuses on the middle sister, the fiery tempered sculptress, Alenna. For several years, she's guarded a specially commissioned Jade Dragon, she calls Gregori. When the dragon cracks and the real warlock Gregori escapes his jade prison, the fun begins. Gregori knows Alenna is his life mate and he has two weeks to convince her to bind her power with his before he flames out. To do so, he will have to break through another set of walls -- the ones Alenna built around her mind, heart and soul.I loved Gregori's passion for life and his intensity. I also enjoyed getting to know more about the people in the small New Zealand town where the Greenwood sisters reside through a heartfelt subplot. I was a little distracted initially and found myself wondering why Alenna's story was the second in the series (rather than Beth) since she is presented as the most powerful, but all is forgiven by the end. Without giving away spoilers, the last third of the Jade Dragon sets the stage for what will surely be the powerful and enchanting third story in the series.

The Jade Dragon offers up unforgettable characters from Ms. O'Sullivan's beautifully detailed artistic perspective. The story premise is so original, full of tension and a sinister mystery that pulls you into every emotional struggle. A powerful warlock, Gregori, is entrapped in a jade dragon that artisan, Alana Greenwood, was forced to carve as his prison. And in the world of Marleybone magic, fate twists cruelly and mortals as well as immortals, have little say in the unfolding of events when the Marleybone Bells ring. So much intrigue and delightful dialogue spin this unusual tale of the power of love, the agony of indecision and heartbreak, and the potential for madness. Can Gregori hold out against insanity while he waits for the only woman destined to be his mate? Or will situations spiral out of control until Gregori is beyond hope and Alana loses her one chance at true, immortal love? If you love fantasy romance, I highly recommend The Jade Dragon. But maybe start with the first in the series, The Silver Rose... I found myself wishing I had!
