I rated it 3 stars, simply because it serves as a quick introduction of the subject. This is not a bad rating, but accurate.Two audiences:One: For anyone who has never heard of the atrocious acts of human experimentation, or is curious, please read. This is a great STARTING POINT into the subject. You won't believe that these are very real circumstances for millions of people. Hopefully, this will make you more aware and lead you to seek even more information.Two: If you are a current consumer of modern documentaries regarding human deprivation and have sought to fulfill your curious appetite, I don't recommend this publication. There is nothing new, here.

I've read over 200 books on this subject over the past 20 years. Many have a couple of good takeaways that I use, but weren't really worth the time I invested. This book is different.The author is engaging, humorous and doesn't come off as preachy like many business authors. He share a lot of his own real-world experiences and doesn't pretend to be 100% perfect. He lays out an easy to follow, common sense, 12 step approach to building a successful business. His experiences and examples are relate-able to things I've gone through and am going through. He sprinkles humor throughout so it's an easy, quick read. There are many sample worksheets included to help you think about things visually and track your progress towards your goals. I'm already using the concepts and worksheets from this book will continue to do so in the future.I highly recommend this to anyone looking to grow a small to medium sized organization. This is the author's first book and I hope there are more to come!

7 of 8 people found the following review helpful. outstanding By Jon Frederickson Wilberg's book is by far the best one written on the implications of Heidegger's work for the field of psychotherapy. Suddenly the Zollikon seminars make sense in a totally new light. He takes Heidegger's comments on objectification and reveals how our scientized manner of viewing the human person prevents us from listening to our own being or the being of the patient. Even if you are not interested in Heidegger, any therapist should purchase the book to read what he has to say about listening. I found it radically shifted my understanding of what it meant to listen to myself or someone else. A remarkable book.

Awsome installment By Catherine Mackay Absolutely awesome installment - it went in directions that were completely unexpected and I loved the epilogue. I will be brief with this review as it is short and I don't want to give too much of the plot away. The writing is tight and the battle scenes between the Ekkai, Ortani and Devlin's liberty force was outstanding. Once again Devlin and his Shediri allies are out-numbered and out-gunned but are bent on victory against the Ekkai before the forces from Earth arrive on the scene - in a previous book the Earth forces destroyed the Squiddies homeworld with a gravity bomb and of course Devlin doesn't want a repeat on the Ekkai homeworld. So Liberty fleet are going all out to defeat the Ekkai, get them to surrender in double quick time before the Earth forces arrive. A thoroughly enjoyable installment and look forward to more installments.

I bought it as a box set and Mr Bloom does not let you down . Bye the whole set it's cheaper that way and you can keep reading . I buy the singles because I love the story but then end up buying the set so I can just sit back and read . This is one of the ones that I had got when it first came out because I think the series is that good . Full of space action that will keep you turning pages.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Devlin's War By MeBerri Another great book by AD Bloom. Devlin's War was fast paced and had me on the edge of my seat. Once again Ram is the under dog in a fight, though it is a position that he seems to thrive in. Ram is determined to save the Ekkai's home world- not wanting the UN and Privateer forces to destroy another home world. Fast paced book, with a great epilogue. I hope there will be another book- the sooner the better!

Lots of Fun for Fans of the Greater Demon Universe By Dave Phipps This takes place in the Keeley / Zack / Eve universe (greater demons, vampires, shifters, adelede, etc.). Tyler is human, or at least that's what he thinks. He has to navigate a world he isn't prepared for, but manages to surprise everyone, including himself.This is a fun story. Lot's of twists and turns, lot's of character development, and a great deal of interaction with several people we have met in other books. That interaction is what really made me enjoy the book. We get to see other sides of the characters we've met previously, and see them through the eyes of someone else.There is a bit of sex, but nothing too graphic. I would recommend a slightly older audience, but mid-teen and older should be fine.If you like the other Keeley / Zack / Eve books, you'll love this series. If you like any other P.S. Power books, start with Demon Girl (Keeley Book 1) and work through that series. I highly recommend it.

Olive This review is for the three book series of Tyler G. : Among the Living, Living Proof, The Living and the Dead.A new character, Tyler Garnett ("Call me Ty") is out jogging early one morning and encounters a gang assaulting a young woman. Being a good guy, he tries to help before he realizes that the gang are all vampires - as is the victim. Despite his certainty that he is going to die, he manages to survive by a combination of luck, some rudimentary martial arts training, and the onset of dawn which weakens and eventually stuns the gang.Of course, this really isn't the whole explanation. During the course of the story we encounter Kelsey, Zack, Eve, and most of the other characters in the story arc. If you enjoyed the earlier stories you will enjoy these as well.As a self-published author PS Power has the freedom to break most of the rules. After writing a sub-series "Other Places" he had the chutzpah to re-write and publish it as "Alternate Places" set in an alternate reality. Both series are good and worth reading, but I cannot imagine a publishing company allowing this to happen. He experiments with multiple different genres and styles of writing as well - mysteries, romance, etc.Many of his protagonists are 'over-powered' which is a stylistic mortal sin for traditional books. Increasingly more authors are successfully 'sinning' in this way. Notable examples are John Conroe, Laurence Dahners, and Glenn Bullion.As part of his wildly creative style he will sometimes deal with some philosophical point of views that are off-putting. The first book contains an anti-feminist plot element that is jarring. His vampires, shifters, and Aledes seem real enough, but the radical feminist characters seem so unreal as to break immersion. I recommend skipping through this part and getting back to the main story, which is quite good.

Tyler fits the author's normal starting profile -- 20 +/- 4 years old, and generally unaware of much of the "larger world", becomes involved by attempting to stop a killing of a vampire by 5 other vampires. He is successful in his attempt, and is pulled into the "Westfield Mall" environment -- multi-national embassies of beings "other than human". He gets a job at the bookstore, shares a house with a "shifter" and vampire, and quickly gets "sucked in" to much deeper involvement, by becoming the leader of a "coalition of nations"...The story is written in typical 'Power fashion -- linear, first-person POV, in almost minute-by-minute detail. The normal typos are there, along with the occasional mis-aligned and sometimes inane sentence, when the author changes his intent mid-sentence. It's a typical "mind-dump stream", best read in the same manner, by paragraph or multiple paragraphs. Reading to closely provides more than a few WTF moments!The story dives almost immediately into sexual humor and innuendo, as has become common with the author lately. There are occasional continuity breaks, though they are minimized when the reader finally becomes aware of Tyler G.'s peculiarities (after reading all 3 books).I admit to being "entertained" by the stories within the "KeeleyVerse" and, in most cases find the author's "soap box rants" humorous rather than offensive.
