Ive watched Teen Mom from the beginning and nothing really surprised me or got me excited. It was a little bland. Nothing like the other Teen Mom girls... but i kinda liked it nonetheless. By Miranda Bonikowski I loved reading what was going through Maci's head and how she actually felt during certain situations. TV never really shows how things really are because someone can act calm when they have 100 things going through their mind. I loved that she wrote a book to get people to see what she went through and everything! Definitely worth reading!

It was very boring and repetitive. I already knew almost everything in this book. It was basically a recap of everything that has happened during her airtime on the show, but with just a little more of her feelings and detail. Her book was much better than Farrah's but it was still very slow. I read this book in an hour and a half, it was a very easy read. I agree with other reviewers, there really isn't much justification for her to call herself "bulletproof" she has been very bless financially and with the love and support of her family as well as friends.

By KLM I am a 50+ year old woman who has never been in the service. I am sure I am not in the typical demographic for the Arisen series, although I do read quite a few horror novels. That being said, this series provides such a fantastic, awe-inspiring glimpse into the world of special ops and all of the mental and physical talent required to function at this level...I am literally jumping up and down on my sofa waiting for the next scene to unfold. Add in the relentless horde of humanity eradicating Zombies that continue to evolve into more lethal creatures and your adrenaline is going into overdrive. How will each new challenge be faced? Who will live and die and who will rise again? Will the scientists find a vaccine in time to save the human race? And most of all, will our team of special operators save the day and and save the planet? I can't wait for Book 8.

As with the rest, it just keeps building -- you know when things seem okay that the other shoe is hurtling at someone's head.The tension builds and the action is all over the globe. In Book Seven we catch up on the carrier and despite a brief respite, things (of course) rapidly go downhill. We see how the Battle (Downfall?) of England is going, and there are some serious repercussions for some long time characters there. We lose some but also have some come into the forefront unexpectedly.We also find out more information about where and how the plague originated (even beyond what what was in the Genesis prequel) which was completely unexpected. Some old foes are making quite a nuisance of themselves, glasnost be damned, and we dig deeper into the bowels of the supercarrier.Progress is being made on so many fronts, I kept catching myself looking at the percent complete and being pleasantly surprised I wasn't done yet -- until I was at 98% and knew the end (and the cliffhanger) was nigh! Like some of the characters, you will have a hard time breathing at times while you wait to see what happens or if the inevitable really is inevitable this time around for them!

Thank you so much for releasing two at once.Character development has improved immensely. Kudos for making a real effort to demonstrate that soldiers are REAL HUMAN BEINGS! And thanks for keeping the relationships rolling along in a realistic manner. But most of all, thanks for keeping it real, exciting, and thrilling.We really need to make an effort to gain wider exposure for these authors-they really are phenomenal.

In late 2014, the Ebola epidemic was taking thousands of lives in West Africa and the World Health Organization was predicting over 100,000 deaths by the end of the year. At the same time, several American healthcare workers had been brought back to the United States deathly ill as a result of working with Ebola patients. As many others did, I thought, "Someone should go stop this virus before it spreads to the United States and kills us all!" I was also thinking, "Someone should go help those poor people in West Africa!" Unlike other battles in our world, the fight against Ebola would not require a military army, but an army of healthcare workers. I am a relatively young, retired physician trained in general adult medicine. My children are grown and independent, both of my parents are deceased, and my wife is healthy and financially secure. This time the "someone" who should go fight Ebola and help the people of West Africa was staring back at me in the mirror. And so, I decided to suit up for the battle against Ebola. This book is a compilation of letters and stories that I wrote to my family and friends during the time I was in Liberia as an Ebola medical volunteer. The letters were meant to be informative on what I was seeing and doing in Liberia but ended up being much more. My overall experience was not what I had expected, filled with more joy and surprises than sadness and death. The letters and stories cover a wide range of subjects including the medical care of Ebola patients in an Ebola Treatment Unit, working in a general medical clinic in rural Liberia, and the people, culture and history of Liberia.

I am a big fan of David Hoyt's Word Winders as well as his Smartphone app Just Two Words. So I was excited to see another book from him. I am a word puzzle lover but I really like variety. I was having a hard time finding books that weren't mainly crosswords and word search. Although I enjoy those I don't want a book with just those. This book is a wonderful mix of word games with nice twists on the regular crosswords and word searches. It is in color, which is nice and in some cases color is incorporated into the puzzle. I've been enjoying it so much that I'm going to buy another as a gift for another word puzzle lover I know. I've waited a long time for a book like this to come along. I hope there will be more in the future!

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Smaller than you think... By Olivier de Flanders Teeny tiny book that is hard too open due to its binding. I knew it was a small book, but this is extremely tiny. Bought it for my 87 year old mom, but it's too small for her to read.
