Arnold Bennett (for those of you who don't know) was a popular English novelist in the late 1800's and early 1900's.This book contains timeless advice about squeezing the most out of everyday life. Everything from training your brain to concentrate to living happily is discussed in full.The book is short enough to be read in an hour or two (around 80 pages in length), and contains sufficient humor and conversational tone to make the read extremely enjoyable.If you're looking for practical life advice to help improve your daily quality of life, you will find no better book than this.Also: I read this book on the Kindle, and it was rendered perfectly. It is the full version of the book, and contains no weird issues (like some of the other free kindle books do).

I consider it a classic, and an early precusor to many others that have attempted to demonstrate how time is our own and ours to manage and expand our boundaries of our selves. In the thirty minutes it takes to read, you will be left forever vigilant, and will never sit idle, unless you consciously choose to sit idle, while you ride a train, wait for plane, or drive home from what once may have been a routine. Read it, study it, and live again.

A daily dose of "How To Live" is at least as nourishing for the brain and soul as a multi-vitamin for the body. Arnold Bennett created a classic of its kind, a self-help book that really helps.

Great therapists like Jeffrey Zeig analyze deeply how Erickson worked in terms of attitudes and techniques.I don't understand the other review. Clearly, this book deserves 5 stars.

I am like the last reviewer, I don't know how it could have possibly received a 1 star review by the other reviewer! I seldom comment; however, after reading the first reviewers review...I felt I had to out of fairness to the author.Certainly this book is not for everybody. In fact most books cater to a certain target market. I can only say by by assuming that the first review was written by someone who doesn't fall into the target market.If you are a student of Ericksonian Hypnosis...you'll want this one in your collection.

It just came in the mail and already I'm extremely excited to sit down and color this book. Here's the nitty gritty.There are six pages that are repeated from Between the Lines: An Expert Level Coloring Book. A few have minor design changes, but over 90% of the page is the same in some of these repeated pages.Quality control issues from the last book have been almost completely resolved. Lines are crisp and defined. There are a few pages in which the black lines fade a bit-it looks like inconsistent printing, but I suppose that could "possibly" be on purpose.The new pages are greatly varied, some naturescapes, some mechanical, others truly 'random' and creative...what we have come to expect from Peter Deligdisch. This book is well suited to gel pens, or well sharpened colored pencils. I keep a few very thin black pens, like Sakura Pigma Micron 0.1, to trace over lines that need it, so my finished page is colored, crisp, and neat.

Crazy and wild designs for lots of coloring fun By iiiireader [[VIDEOID:d5bab63e26c82e55ff355007d89481de]]Attached is my silent and quick flip through video of the entire book of designs. I hope it is of assistance to you."Color Me Crazy" is my first adult color book by Peter Deligdisch. After another reviewer stated that the designs were on both sides of the page, I was happy and surprised to see that my book came with designs printed on only one side. The quality of the paper is good (though not a heavy weight) and it is a bright white. The only thing lacking is perforated edges - I wish more companies did this but it doesn't look like it would be too difficult to remove the pages from the glued edge binding.There are 44 designs in this color book. They are all quite wild and imaginative. There are a couple which have a sort of faded out look to the right hand side of the page. I don't know if that is intentionally part of the design or if the print quality went askew with those few designs. Depending on how I color those pages, I may re-inforce the faded look or remove it by adding more color to the outlines.While all of the designs appear to have a sort of "doodle" quality to them (if you can doodle this intricately and creatively - which I cannot), they are done in a variety of different styles. I really like this as it gives me a choice of styles depending on my mood on a particular day. The designs in the book appeal to both my husband to and to me - which is not always true with various adult coloring books. Due to the intricacies of the various designs, I will certainly keep my magnifying lamp handy while I am working on this book.As I would expect from the thinness of the paper in the book, all of my gel pens and markers bleed through. I will use freezer paper in between the sheets (if I am keeping it in the book) or under the page if I remove it from the book. I find that it works well for me. You can also put multiple sheets of heavy stock paper in between if you don't have freezer paper handy (it is sold at most grocery stores and is fairly inexpensive and can be reused.)

There are many lessons from the book I want to share with even my own kids. It's like a drop of rain that evaporates before it hits the ground never having that impact. I love the reference of having come from Kings & Queens. The breakdown of the assistance of a financial planner is very educational. I feel as though I'm having a one-on-one conversation with a person "not an author." I just thoroughly enjoyed this journey of reading it. I share this to say this needs to be shared and passed on!

Felt like the book could have been something great but fell a bit short.Chapter 3 is the best section of the book, as it does go into some detail about planning for the death of a spouse. Though I am not married, I found this the most helpful.Overall however, reading it was a bit frustrating as it would constantly say, "You should do xyz" but didn't explain how. It could have been a little "juicier." Probably not my first choice if I had to recommend a book on finance for women, but it deserves a download.

A place we would die for.’Man, these books just keep getting better! The last book set the wheels in motion for a pretty epic showdown between the residents of The Shade and the black witches and that’s exactly what we got in this book. This book went from 0-60 in about 1 chapter and kept the pedal to the metal the entire time! Once again we get to see the residents of The Shade (now more varied than ever) band together to protect their home against this newest threat. We’ve seen it before and it’s one of the things I love most about this series. I love the sense of community and how so many different types of people/creatures can come together to help. There were so many little twists and turns that took place in the midst of this all-out war, some big decisions were made and some big discoveries about one character is also uncovered. A few times I was very nervous for the fate of some of the characters, there’s a particularly heart wrenching scene towards the end of the battle that had my mind scrambling trying to figure out if the author was really going to go there or not (you’ll know what I mean when you get to that part). Oh and remember the dragons in the last book? Well they’re back in a BIG way here and I thought it was awesome! It looks like there are two more books coming out to wrap up Rose & Caleb’s story, and then will we get Ben’s story?? I sure hope so! But regardless, if Bella keeps writing these books, I will keep reading them! 4.5 stars!

A Dawn of Strength is the fourteenth release in Bella Forrest's spellbinding mega hit series, A Shade of Vampire and it totally rocked my world - AGAIN! Like thousands of my fellow Shaddicts, I've been hooked from the very first book of the series and now anxiously await each release. I simply cannot get enough! I love this series! I was turning the pages so fast, my Kindle Fire couldn't keep up! Just when I think there's no way this series can get any better - Wham! Bella dazzles us again with another riveting narrative that curls our toes and leaves us breathless, begging for more! This is a paranormal saga so unlike any other I've ever read. It is exciting, original, imaginative, very well developed, well executed, thrilling, fast paced, riveting, action packed, mysterious, suspenseful, enchanting, heartbreaking, heartwarming, seductive and oh so romantic. These are only a few of the words that come to mind after reading this incredible chronicle of the Shade, its inhabitants and its enemies. The dialogue is smart, intelligent, exceptionally well written, well edited and flows effortlessly. Although the story is compelling and the dialogue is exceptional, it's truly the wonderful, comprehensive cast of larger than life characters that makes the biggest impact. They are fascinating, captivating, intriguing, engaging, endearing, downright sexy and just out of this world! Literally! They seem to explode off the page, grab your imagination, capture your heart and hold you totally enthralled from beginning to end. Forrest expertly combines these elements to craft a stunningly brilliant masterpiece of paranormal romance filled to the brim with action, adventure, fantasy, mystery, suspense, magic, supernatural beings, love, loyalty, heartbreak and hope. Handsome, compelling vampires, beautiful beguiling witches (both good and evil), power wielding warlocks, super sexy werewolves, hideous lumbering ogres (except Bella and Brett, of course), handsome devious dragons, a very loyal hellhound and much, much more! I love it! I never tire of visiting my friends of 'The Shade'. It always feels like returning home. If you love heart wrenching paranormal romance, heart breaking angst, tantalizing magic, out of this world fantasy, spine-tingling suspense, hold your breath action, malevolent enemies, evil machinations, unexpected plot twists and heart-pounding adventure, then you will surely enjoy A Shade of Vampire series. Buckle up my lovelies! It's another wild, wonderful and thrilling ride! This is a series - not a stand alone story and the books should be read in order of their release - and it does contain nail biting cliffhangers that will leave you on the edge of your seat panting for more - which I love! Bella always keeps us on our toes but lovingly rewards our patience with each new release. Well done, Bella, very well done! I can hardly wait to read Book 15! Charmingly captivating, seriously sexy, powerfully compelling and delightfully entertaining!!!

By Amazon Customer I know Book 13 was considered epic . . . but Book 14 blew it out of the water in my opinion! This installment was so full of action, love, self-sacrifice, unexpected "hotness", etc., that I literally could not put it down! What a wild ride! Prepare yourself for feeling every emotion in the book (at one point I stuck my head in my freezer just to cool off . . . holy crap on a cracker . . . talk about hot and bothered)! I am so freaking excited for the next book I am already counting down the days until its release date! In the meantime, I think I'll read this one again!! ;)
