Wraps Up the Series Although There is a Seventh Book By James N Simpson I liked the sixth book a lot better than book five, it does wrap up the events of the first five books in the Left Alive series and you could stop reading at the end of this and be quite satisfied with the series, but we learn after the book ends that there is a seventh on the way. This sixth does have some of the same problems with the likability of the narrator and the fact she spends a lot of time judging others and spends pages thinking about her sister, boyfriend and others actions and past actions which can get a little irritating. I liked the addition of what they find in a veterinarian surgery and hope we encounter more in book seven. For me the better books were with the first narrator Charles but overall the series of six has been quite enjoyable. I'd definitely check out other books by this author. I actually bought the six pack of these and depending on the price of these individual ones it might well be cheaper for you to do it that way. Although you're likely to have already read them if you're reading reviews for book six.

The last two books have annihilated the entire series By Ana Robin SPOILER ALERT...This series went downhill with the killing off of its best character, Charlie. The first Lexi/Val book was disappointing. Marco, the only likeable character, was offed within the first few chapters. This has become a teenage drama with page after page of Lexi's feelings, rather than an actual story line. It doesn't even seem like the same writer anymore. To top it off, Lexi sleeps with Val's boyfriend, Greg, gets pregnant and proceeds to watch Val, her own sister and boyfriend Greg make love through a hole in the wall (sick and twisted). Now Val is dying, leaving nothing but despicable characters to carry on the next book. I'm officially done with Left Alive The last two books have annihilated the entire series.

Oreilly I've been a fan and probably always will be but the the story this time drug on about details and minutia. Especially the injuries. It was like reading the account of a poorly equipped field medic.it picked up near the end in a way that I'll get the next book hoping it'll keep me on the edge and more entertaining. It took me awhile to read this one. I'll forgive since I have come so far.
