By Gael Linn The cover says it is for "girls" and the three girls on the cover, although oddly out of proportion - seem stylish and modestly dressed. However, the images inside are drawings of girls in which some look anorexic, have pinched waists, overly enhanced breasts, low cut or otherwise revealing clothing styles such as a dress flying up suggestively as one girl rides a bike. At best the drawings look like malnourished waifs but many just look like prostitutes. I am sending my copy back without ever showing it to my ten year old granddaughter. This coloring book is not what our family wants our girls to aspire to. What kind of mind thinks of portraying young girls like this? Totally turned off.

By June Most of the clothing are plain and easy to color but there are about ten that have more details. The drawings are one-sided so you don't have to worry about markers bleeding through to the other side. The models are standing in different poses with blank backgrounds which is nice because then each picture can be completed more quickly.....I like coloring pictures that do not take too long to complete.....if the picture takes too long to complete, I get bored with it and then it becomes a job instead of enjoyment and relaxation. Overall, I am very happy with this book.
5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Same pics By Monarose Pages looks and feels like simple copies and these books have the same pics in them... Not cool when you buy the entire collection and find the same pics in the other books too...not cool at all...feel cheated.
