A Diversity of Wisdom in a Small Space By SRD Management books are everywhere these days, but this small and relatively short volume packs a lot of critical insight--largely because of the wide range of experienced professionals who have contributed to this work. My personal favorite is Ron Hodge's "EQ Trumps IQ" because it really focuses on the qualities of a true leader, and of the need to value people above all else--a critical message in a corporate world increasingly driven by up-to-the minute profitability numbers rather than the long haul of creating and nurturing a solid team that will truly deliver enduring results.

Know-How: Experience, Expertise, Execution - Highly Recommended By Daniel J DeWitt This book is recommended reading for graduate business students and business people early in their careers. I enjoyed learning the ideas and stories that developed from each executive's personal business experience. This highly-readable book will help people avoid mistakes and be more effective as their career's evolve.

Mordell This a fantastic book for anyone curious about improving their impact among organizations and for themselves. The book is organized into easily readable chapters/articles grouped into three topics: Being the Best, Creating the Most Value and Unleashing Potential. Each article is written by a different author. They are real world leaders sharing their experience concisely and are not people trying to sell you on any idea. At the end of each article, the author also shares their suggestions for further reading to the topic. Great insights there alone. While every article won't be a hit with each reader, I am certain there is good value in here for anyone seeking to be better at their leadership craft. I will be sharing this book widely.
