1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Great book series By T.Alleman One word...horrible. That's how I feel upon realizing that there's only one book left in the series. Fuller has kept me enthralled, appalled, at times, and utterly fascinated by his great masterpiece. Every time I delved into the pages of these books I was mentally transported to world that is foreign, yet surprisingly familiar. The sights, sounds, smells and feelings are immaculately described, and have kept me thinking about what I read long after I put the book down. Once again, it's horribly upsetting I'm about the embark on the last adventure of Gen, Mirrele, Chalaine, Gerand, Volnney, and the lot. But I will survive, do not fret.

Lowry I think that I may have liked this book the best out of the four. There are some surprising plot twists in this book. I felt like I was going to get whiplash a few times.Fuller continues with his truly epic story. There is great character development and plot development in this book. A warning though: Fuller is not always kind to his main characters. Like good people in the "real world," the main characters are not spared misfortune and tradegy. He continues to explore the ideas of duty and faith as Gen and his friends face the greatest foes yet.

By tim Great continuation of the story, but it is not a stand alone book so you must read the first two installments to understand all the subplots. Good multiple character development. Some of the decisions made by the characters are questionable, but it just shows that like all of us even fictional characters make mistakes. I have already started on Book 4 and the plot thickens within the first few pages. I will be adding Fuller to my list of must read Authors.
