I did feel a bit lost since this was the first book in the series I have read. The author does a great job of giving explanation where needed though. I, however, would recommend reading this series from the beginning.Morgan Carter is still rattled from her horrible encounter with the Montana wolves. She understands she needs to make things right after how she previously treated her mate, Grey. Grey is starting his own pack with an alliance of a neighboring pack. Morgan is to be included as well as Marissa. They have a big day coming up as Morgan and Grey will marry, their claiming, the pack branding, and their first pack hunt. Until Morgan is claimed, any wolf can challenge Grey.As happiness is surrounding all the wedding plans, there are wolves that want to destroy what they are building. Besides the constant challenges Grey is continually faced with, Alexis is quietly seeking revenge on Grey for snubbing her by choosing Morgan over her. She's contacted some help to cause trouble I am sure.This book was a delight to read as I was intrigued with the world Tera Shanley has created! The changings, mating, and protocol was neat to read about. I loved Morgan and Grey together. Their chemistry just sizzles. Grey seems like a really great guy and understands the responsibility needed to be an alpha of a pack. Morgan is getting stronger being new to being a wolf. She also realizes what her role within the pack will entail. I am really looking forward to seeing her grow as a person and as a wolf. Each book is like a chapter in the serial and are rather quick reads. If you enjoy new worlds and shifters, then you need to one-click this series! This is a short story in between books 2 and 3 for us to finally have something good between Morgan and Grey. Morgan and Grey had a total nightmare happening in book two. It broke my heart in many ways. And this one, it's so sweet. With some good werewolf fights, and a unity that's never happened with werewolves before. I cheered alot for this one. :) But it also tells us that there's something big coming for book three. I can't wait to read it!This one is all about Morgan and Grey trying to reconnect. After Morgan's kidnapping, she's having trouble, and some PTSD symptoms, which are keeping her a little stand offish. Morgan wants to be with Grey she just has to get past her fears. Grey wants to be patient and wants Morgan to be ok with everything. Ok with herself, him, her life, who she is now, what she will mean to their species, and what's to come. But people now know about Morgan, she's a silver wolf, Alexis, the bad guy from book one, is on a vengeance path, and wants Morgan dead, or not anywhere near Grey's reach. Grey just wants to protect Morgan. Morgan just wants to be normal, or as normal as she can be. And Morgan doesn't want Grey's slow... With all the big bad wolves coming at them from all angles for Morgan, she just wants to be with Grey. Oh and I so need to talk about Marissa. I love her. She was so broken before Grey and Morgan came around and I absolutely love her character. I seriously seriously hope for some excellent goodness for her character somewhere in the future of this series. But I'm so glad Morgan and Grey are getting theirs!I love the fun that came from the Dallas pack. They were all so willing to help and I cheer for them as well. I hope everything stays good. I like copacetic, but I want more than that from these two packs who have made my heart cheer! I almost panicked, because it's the beginning and the end of this series. I know I just contradicted myself there. But this story is the end of the separation between Grey and Morgan, and them with the Dallas Pack. It's official. There's two Dallas Packs and they are friends and allies. But this is the beginning of their adventure of what's to come. There hasn't been a silver wolf in centuries and this is not going to be an easy ride. This is the happy ending in the middle of the hurricane :) Yep that's what I'm going with LOL I live in South Louisiana and it's hurricane season hahaha I am so pumped to get my hands on Summit of the Wolf! 5 MAGICAL BRANDING PAWS!!!

A Creative Take on the Werewolf Genre By Leiah There are very few people who are going to look into the mirror and say, ‘That person I see is a savage monster; instead, they make up some construction that justifies what they do. – Noam ChomskyA lot has happened since Book Two of “The Silver Wolf Clan: Black Wolf’s Revenge.” Misunderstandings led to pain, pain led to loss, and, from my review of book two:“. . . a botched disclosure of just how rare she is, and how much danger she and Lana are in due to her Silver Wolf status, has Morgan running back to her little house in town, far away from Grayson and the Dallas Pack. Heartbroken, she determines to protect herself and Lana on her own.”Which really didn’t work out well for anyone concerned. Now, Morgan and Lana are back where they belong, with her beloved Grey. Grey’s Demon Wolf needs a job, a big one, to calm him down, and having Morgan and Lana, as well as the adopted daughter of the Denver Pack alpha and his mate, Marissa, to care for, Wolf is starting to calm. And calm is necessary after Morgan’s kidnapping and brutal abuse at the hands of a savage alpha. It is going to take a while for Morgan to open back up to Grey’s attentions, and the fact that Grey has not one, but three females in his pack, and one, Morgan, is a Silver – a breeding female, the only one in existence at that – is sure to cause massive problems for Grey’s little pack. Keeping them safe and healing their pain, everyone’s pain, including Grey’s, is a full time job.
