I absolutely loved this book and the first 2 she has written. I met the author at Comic-Con in Minneapolis, Mn and was not sure about the story line. How mistaken I was, I loved these books. In fact I am going to read the first one over. I was on the edge of my sit constantly reading. You cannot help but fall in love with her 3 main characters. She has written with so much compassion and caring within the story. I was fascinated with where she takes you in this world of incubus's and the other dark and light fae characters. A beautiful love story and a fast pace world in which these 3 men must face in order to save each other. The excitement never stops, never seems to be a lull anywhere in the story. She takes you to aother world you could never imagine. I recommend all 3 books very highly. And as I said "Please write more with these 3 men on another adventure"!!!!!

Bittersweet Chaos By Ileana Taking a week after the events that took at the end of the previos book, Nathan comes back to us from the Veil, after spending a year with Malak as a Shadow Immortal. Disoriented, Nathan struggles with the trauma he endured under Malak; having issues differentiating his experience there with those at present. The book mostly takes place at the Gatehouse with few detours taking place. The Gatehouse acts as the base during the final battle/apocalypse. There was plenty angst in this book, mostly stemming from Nathan. The angst, created a slow-steady pace, which made an already long book, feel incredibly longer. Less would have been more in that department. It would have felt less repetitive, emotionally. Plot and character development were well done and on par with the previous book. Sex scenes were tasteful and kept at a minimum. Meuwissen did a great job bringing all loose ends together.I enjoyed learning more about secondary character's and liked the inclusion of new character's: Adrian and Solrin. Their presence helped strengthen our main character's and their bonds with one another. I liked the play on the four horsemen and immensely enjoyed learning more about Malak and his reasons for warring. The ending itself was bittersweet, more sweet than bitter. I loved the matchmaking Nathan devised for Leven, the ring scene between Nathan and Sasha, the surprise revealed regarding Alex and Jim, and what Oberon and Ula coming together means for the future.I'm a little sad to know that this is the end and will miss these character's and their adventures together. I can only hope that maybe a few of them make a cross over appearance in the Collectors series and am looking forward to what becomes of that series and Malak.Definitely recommend.

Faltys It all comes down to this third and final installment in the Incubus Saga as the battle between light and dark, good and evil, comes to a head. After the emotional events that befell our trio of unlikely heroes at the end of the previous installment there's a feeling of negativity and loss as this story opens. The heroes are at their lowest point despite Nathan's return. It's a return though rife with inner fears and palpable paranoia that will lead to yet another fight for his life as he battles the pain and lies from his time behind the veil with the reality and expectations of being back home. He's not alone in his battle as his incubus lover and his brother are by his side every step of the way giving him their love and support but also acted as his weakness as the end creeps ever closer.Though this story started off a bit slow secrets were soon revealed that changed things dramatically. Nathan may have started off a broken man but quickly realized, along with his brother, their individual roles in keeping the world safe. Their brotherly love and bond might have gotten bruised while he was gone but they reunited stronger than ever with Sasha being his usual supportive and sexy self. Ms. Meuwissen imbued this story with deep emotional angst, a bit of sensual m/m lovin', and a compelling mythology. There's edge of your seat action scenes and an equally compelling and colorful cast of characters, both heroic and villainous, that keep you glued to the action. Both old friends and new leave you rooting for good to win but fearful with unexpected twists and turns. It all adds up to an exhilarating thrill ride with heart and soul and a delightful addition to the urban fantasy genre that ends up being so much more!
